Fox8 has shared a new promo for "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5, Episode 1 "EscApe from New York." This latest 45-second trailer centres on Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse). She and other Liars plan to escape from New York as the title of the premiere episode suggests.

In this promo for "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5, Episode 1, Alison is in serious trouble as she comes face-to-face with 'A'.

Season 4, finale episode concluded and fans came to know that Ali was alive and she faked her own death. Meanwhile, Ezra took a bullet for the girls and 'A' was out there.

Now, when the show returns with the new season, the Liars will have to deal with 'A' and other issues like, will Ezra survive the bullet injury?

"We're all in this together," says Emily's voiceover.

Spencer joins in and tells Ali, "Look, Ali, either you trust us or you don't."

The promo also shows an ambulance on the New York City streets. Also, Ali is seen hanging up the phone while Hanna, Spencer and Emily stand there.

"There are some things you don't need to know about," says Ali in the promo.

The trailer concludes with someone wearing gloves coming to cover Alison's mouth.

Official Synopsis for "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5, Episode 1

"Moments after where the season four finale left off, Aria and the Liars are reeling from Ezra's shooting at the hands of "A." The five girls quickly realize that as the one person who truly knows A's identity, Ezra is in grave danger. While Aria stands watch over Ezra at the hospital, Alison and the PLLs lay a trap to finally flush out "A" but are shocked by who is ensnared.

Meanwhile, Holbrook steps up his efforts to find the girls and puts the Hastings family on alert. And as news of Alison's resurrection spreads, Mona is not pleased," reported by Pretty Little Liars (Alloy Entertainment).
