Things do not look great for Ezra when "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 returns with the premiere episode. After the shocking events on the rooftop in "PLL" Season 4 finale instalment, Season 5, Episode 1 titled "EscApe from New York" is going to deal with the aftermath. ABC Family released the official synopsis for the premiere episode.

"Moments after where the season four finale left off, Aria and the Liars are reeling from Ezra's shooting at the hands of "A." The five girls quickly realize that as the one person who truly knows A's identity, Ezra is in grave danger. While Aria stands watch over Ezra at the hospital, Alison and the PLLs lay a trap to finally flush out "A" but are shocked by who is ensnared.

Meanwhile, Holbrook steps up his efforts to find the girls and puts the Hastings family on alert. And as news of Alison's resurrection spreads, Mona is not pleased."

Ezra is in a bad shape and the synopsis clearly confirms that things are not going to be smooth for the man. According to "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 premiere synopsis, Ezra is "A's" number one target at the moment. It looks like "A" wants to kill Ezra, who took the bullet for the Liars, at any cost. However, Aria is around to support Ezra in the hospital. Will she be able to save him from getting attacked?

Alison is back and Mona is not happy about it. This is expected as Mona was the one who made Ali to fake her own death.

"Pretty Little Liars" Season 5, Episode 1 sounds like a killer premiere instalment and fans cannot wait to see all the action.
