Synopsis for Season 5 Summer Finale

"With Alison leading them down a dangerous path and "A" barring them from telling the police the truth, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer feel trapped and are desperate to find a way out of this mess. With nothing else to lose, could the PLLs lose everything by putting their faith in a possibly untrustworthy ally?

Meanwhile, Alison begins to build up her own army now that the PLLs have turned their back on her."

Showrunner Marlene King talked to Entertainment Weekly about the summer finale instalment. King revealed that this episode is going to be shocking but in a different way.

King explained that like all other finale episode this one is also going to surprise in the last 60 seconds. However, she advised that fans should watch the complete episode.

She teased that Alison is going to make a decision. Her action is going to be bold and threatening for other girls and the Liars.

The synopsis states that Ali is forming "her own army now that the PLLs have turned their back on her."

The promo suggested that someone is going to die. The girls are at the crime scene and Emily gets a message.

The message is from 'A' and it says that it is their fault.
