‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 5: Janel Parrish Talks About Mona’s Flashback
Mona is gone. A major character died in "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 mid-season finale episode. Fans are not sure who is responsible for Mona's death, but Janel Parrish (Mona) teases that her character's death will be addressed in the second-half of the season.
Wetpaint talked to Parrish about her death, how she will make a comeback in the show and more.
Mona will be seen in "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5b in the form of flashbacks.
"I think they're all going to be different, and it will be interesting to see Mona through the eyes of the girls. She had all these different things that she was doing, she had all these different personalities, so you're going to see all of that, which is great. I think it's going to help us understand Mona better and maybe some mysteries will be solved in going back into those flashbacks, which I'm really excited about. It's the same way we found out a lot about what happened to Ali in her flashback, so I think Mona's flashbacks are going to be important," Parrish said to Wetpaint when asked about her flashback scenes.
Parrish also mentioned that Mona left behind clues that will help Spencer in the second half of the season.
When Wetpaint asked if she knows anything about Mona's killer, Parrish shared her suspicions.
"I do not know who exactly killed Mona, only because the writers are so good about keeping those things secret. But I do have my suspicions, and I do think that it was Alison. Ali looked a little smug at the end. So I definitely have my suspicions."
Fans were devastated after Mona died in the show and #RIPMona was trending on Twitter and this made Parrish quite happy.
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 winter premiere airs in January 2015 on ABC Family.
