On June 10, "Pretty Little Liars" will return, with a brand new season 5. The good news is that the title of the premiere episode is out, and it is called "EscApe from New York." It derives its name from the 1981 classic cult film of the same name.

Director Norman Buckley shared a photo on Instagram from "Pretty Little Liars" pre-production process. He captioned the photo - "First #PLL production meeting, season 5."

The premiere episode is written by showrunner Marlene King and is directed by Norman Buckley.

The title suggests that the Liars will be New York City. They were last seen on the rooftop, when they had a showdown with "A." Ezra was shot by "A" in the "Pretty Little Liars" season 4 finale. Aria will be willing to stay with Ezra and make sure he survives. Spoilers of the upcoming season suggests Ezra survives the bullet wound.

"Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 Cast Updates

"PLL" is gearing up production for the new season and many old faces are back. In a photo uploaded by Janel Parris (Mona), she can be seen with Brant Daugherty (Noel Kahn) and Brendan Robinson (Lucas).

"Reunited with these boys @brantdaugherty@brendanrobinson1," captioned Janel. Wetpaint predicts that they will appear in "Pretty Little Liars" season 5, episode 1, "EscApe from New York."

Fans came to know in "Pretty Little Liars" season 4 finale that Mona and Noel knew that Ali was not dead. Lucas returning in the season 5 premiere can mean that he had helped Ali is some or the other way.

Is it possible that Lucas is "A"? Did he shoot Ezra? The upcoming season will provide answers to these questions, most probably in the premiere episode.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 5 premiere episode, "EscApe from New York," is scheduled to air on June 10, 2014.
