‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 6B Spoilers: More edgy and deadly new season [WATCH VIDEO]

“Pretty Little Liars” Season 6B will take a five year leap and will premiere in a little over two months time. Come January, viewers will witness a wild ride as Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Aria (Lucy Hale) tackle a more edgy and deadlier situation in Rosewood.

A new mysterious person is after the girls. “Big Bad” is coming to Rosewood and he or she will be worse than “A,” Cosmopolitan reported. “It’s not just all dolls and games. He’s not trying to play with them. He threatens them,” said actress Benson.

Benson added that the new season is just not fun and games, it’s about a situation of life and death. Hale said that the stakes are much higher as the new villain threatens to kill them if they do not given him/her what the person wants, MTV reported. She also said that she was very excited about the new chapter in her life, which brings a change of pace in the series.

She also dished on the now-infamous baby fake-out scene in the premiere. It seems that Hanna is the mother of a toddler, but she is just watching the child for a fellow passenger on her flight.

Meanwhile, Sasha Pieterse who plays the role of Alison DiLaurentis dished that Charlotte DiLaurentis (alias CeCe Drake) played by Vanessa Ray (in present time) and Dylan Garza (in flashback), the older sister of Alison is nothing compared to Big Bad. Charlotte and her games look like child’s play in comparison to the new villain, said Sasha.

Show creator I. Marlene King gave an insight into the new threat. There is a dead body that is shown and Big Bad wants to find out why the person has passed away and seek revenge on the person responsible. In the process, [the Big Bad] will kill people to get the answer, Teen Vogue reported.

Meanwhile, Hanna, Emily, Spencer and Aria will be subpoenaed to testify on behalf of Drake. In the sneak peek, Alison is asking the girls to lie, so that Drake can get out of jail.

Also, Hanna shows off a ring, mostly an engagement ring. However, she is not with Caleb Rivers (Tyler Blackburn). The youngster is pictured kissing someone else, her new beau, TV Line reported. The regular characters like Caleb (returns to Rosewood), Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding) and Sarah Harvey (Dre Davis) will also be seen in the new season.
