‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 7, Episode 7 Spoilers: Spoby fans fear Toby’s death, series finale talks [Review]
Who is A.D. in PLL 7 -- Archer Dunhill a.k.a. the fake Elliott Rollins?
“Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, Episode 7 (Original G'A'ngsters) airs Tuesday, Aug. 8, on Freeform. This week’s new episode reveals what happens next to Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Hanna (Ashley Benson), who still don’t know who is A.D. Meanwhile, Spoby fans and avid followers of the series are worried over speculations of Toby’s (Keegan Allen) death and the show’s supposed series finale by end of this season.
Spoiler alert: This update contains “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7 spoilers. The Freeform synopsis for Episode 7 says Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker) is returning, while Ezra (Ian Harding) is getting a course-changing phone call. The highlights of the episode, however, are expected to be linked to Spencer’s possible scenes with Toby and his fiancée.
PLL Season 7: Who is A.D. and did he or she kill Dre Davis’ Sara Harvey?
Who is A.D. in PLL Season 7? Neither Spencer nor Hanna know for sure. The Liars still know zilch by the end of PLL 7x6 (“Wanted: Dead or Alive”). The episode even ends without anyone realising that Sara could soon be dead. A.D. may have killed Sara, but Jenna (Tammin Sursok) could also be in it.
In an interview with TV Line a week ago, Dre Davis has revealed she has no idea who killed Sara. The actress also weighed in on Emison (Emily Fields and Alison DiLaurentis, portrayed by Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse, respectively). Dre said she likes Emison together and the fans should see a romantic ending for these two.
Incidentally, Emily and Alison get back to a better place in PLL 7x6, after Alison was attacked in her home. Was Alison attacked by A.D. or by Archer Dunhill a.k.a. the fake Elliott Rollins (Huw Collins)? Many fans are convinced that A.D. is in fact Elliott, but at this point, it would be too easy to be true.
Will Toby Cavanaugh die in PLL Season 7?
The avid fans of “Pretty Little Liars” loved Toby when he was played by James Neate in Season 1, but his story got even better when Keegan Allen took over the portrayal. Spoby fans should tune in to Freeform this week to see Spencer and Toby again, even if Toby is still engaged to Yvonne Phillips (Kara Royster), who will also appear in Season 7, Episode 7.
There are speculations that Toby will die in PLL Season 7, and Allen himself may have inadvertently fueled this theory when he posted this on Twitter a month ago:

On top of Toby’s rumoured death, the PLL ending may also be on the horizon after Season 7. Fans should note, however, that nothing has been confirmed yet when it comes to Toby’s or the show’s life expectancy.
The good news for Spoby fans is they could expect this in PLL Season 7, Episode 10:

The “change ahead” sign may or may not be related to “Pretty Little Liars,” but for many of King’s nearly one million followers, their heart couldn’t rest just yet until Freeform or King confirms that there will be PLL Season 8.
