The Price of a Tweet: Tampa Bay’s Pitcher Under Fire for Sexist Post
Women Can't Drive?
Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher David Price is in hot water after tweeting what was seemingly innocent post on Tuesday morning.
From his official twitter account (@DAVIDprice14), Price implied that women can’t drive, although it could also be interpreted positively and that he just shows concern for the ladies.
Everyone thats traveling for thanksgiving please be careful! Driving conditions will be rough with these storms! Ladies..let ur man drive!

Sports fans took to the social media to react—violently and humorously—to the three-time MLB All-Star’s tweet. Here are the angry fans:

Price is a 5-year pro drafted by the Rays as the first overall pick in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft. He was named the American League starter for the 2010 All-Star Game and won his first Cy Young award in 2012.
