Primetime Emmy's Trend: Pastel Gowns and Sparkles [PHOTOS]
From Glee's Jayma Mays to Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi, pastel colors seem to be the trend with the recently-concluded Primetime awards, and here are some of the best looks.
The 63rd Primetime Emmy's is an annual red carpet event that female celebrities get excited for just because of the dresses they wear. Aside from winning awards, female A-listers make sure to bust it out so they'll be included in the best dressed list. For this year, the trend was obviously pastel colored gowns, with many celebrities stepping on the red carpet in billowing, light-hued creations.
Glee actress, Jayma Mays, took the vintage, layered approach with a soft pink chiffon dress by Zuhair Murad that she paired with Neil Lane diamond earrings. Julia Stiles showed off he curves in a lavender strapless Georges Hobeika fitted gown, while "So You Think You Can Dance" host, Cat Deeley, looked like a modern princess with a Monique Lhuiller creation.
Juliana Marguiles donned an Armani Prive studded corset gown, accessorized by an Emmy award for her performance in "The Good Wife." "Mad Men" leading lady Christina Hendricks looked gorgeous in a sparkling Johanna Johnson gown, while Top Chef beauty Padma Lakshmi looked glowing in a soft, camel Armani Prive dress.
