Prince Charles-Camilla Bowles' Alleged Divorce: Couple Together In Senghenydd, Divorce Claims Put To Rest--Reports
The queen has reportedly encouraged Prince Charles to divorce his wife the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker-Bowles. While sites are buzzing with reports that the couple is finally calling it quits after reports of numerous fighting and arguments, another report has surfaced slamming divorce speculations. The couple was all smiles when they attended a memorial ceremony together, hinting that their alleged divorce could be on hold.
Inquisitr reported that the alleged divorce of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles may be on hold since they were spotted together in Senghenydd.
Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall graced the Welsh National Miners Memorial Ceremony on Thursday in Senghenydd. Contrary to reports of their impending divorce, the couple stuck to each other during the ceremony. They were the epitome of a royal couple carrying out royal duties.
Prince Charles was snapped laying a wreath at the foot of the Welsh National Mining Memorial while Camilla Parker-Bowles stood behind him in support (see photo from DailyMail). According to BBC, the royal couple also opened the Aber Valley Heritage Centre, which tells the history of the South Wales valleys.
Additionally, webpronews reported Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles also took time to greet the crowd. Schoolchildren who attended the ceremony gave them flowers and Camilla cheerfully accepted them. The royal couple also talked to the families of the victims of the 1913 coalmine explosion.
Apparently, the couple was in their best mood, slamming reports of divorce.
BBC reported that Helen Manship, a well-wisher and mother of three, said Prince Charles "seemed in good spirits." He even managed to joke around with her when he saw her one-year old daughter.
"I told him I was a mum of three, and he said 'you've got your hands full then' and then joked 'have they got permission to be off school?"' Manship recalled.
While the choir sang "Senghenydd," Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles were side by side as they walked through the tiles around the memorial, browsing the names of the victims. Even their outfit seemed to slam divorce speculations, as they made an effort to dress in white and in different hues of grey.
The smiles could just be for media's sake. But Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles showed great effort to slam divorce speculations by appearing together in the ceremony.
On Oct. 14, 1913, Senghenydd witnessed the biggest disaster in their area when a coalmine explosion took the lives of 439 miners and one rescuer at the Universal Colliery. The victims were commemorated with the unveiling of the Welsh National Miners Memorial last year, during the tragic accident's centennial anniversary.
