Prince George Lands on Vanity Fair Cover; Kate Middleton and Prince William to Try for Second Baby This Summer [PHOTOS]
Prince George has earned a cover page for himself in the Vanity Fair magazine along with his royal parents Kate Middleton and Prince William. The gorgeous trio looks completely at ease with each other in the main picture of the magazine which was taken during their April trip to an Australian zoo. Prince George looks content and happy as he lovingly looks in the eyes of his doting dad Prince William while his mother, Kate, looks on.
The picture was clicked during Prince William and Kate Middleton's official trip to Australia and New Zealand in April where Prince George also accompanied them. It was the first ever overseas trip for the little baby who will turn 1 year old on July 22 this year.
"Happy Birthday Prince George," writes the Vanity Fair magazine on their cover page along with the adorable picture of the royal family. "Raising the world's most eligible infant. How the future king spent year one," the title further elaborates.
The Vanity Fair cover was not shot exclusively for the magazine though. The picture was taken during the Prince William and Kate Middleton's official trip to Australia and New Zealand in April, where Prince George also accompanied them.
The magazine also does not carry any personal interview of the royal parents. But it does dwell upon little Prince's sleeping habits and his upbringing, among other things.
The magazine reveals detail of how happy the Duchess of Cambridge is with George's behaviour at public outings. The chubby baby is generally a picture of calm and is seldom seen throwing tantrums at his public outings. But he was not like this at his early stages.
Just like majority of babies, George also cried throughout the night while he was only on breast milk. The little prince suffered baby colic. "For the first few months the prince cried loudly and frequently, and he was not sleeping through the night," reveals the magazine. Things started to improve when Kate introduced George to solids, reports Vanity Fair.
The magazine also reveals details about Prince George's latest nanny, Spanish-born Maria Teresa Turrion Borallo, who accompanied Prince George to Australia and New Zealand. The woman is trained in self-defense and has experience dealing with paparazzi, among other things. She was recommended by one of the royal couple's friends.
The magazine further reveals the royal couple wants to give their son a "normal upbringing." They often take him to play dates with children of the same or almost the same age. The magazine also reported the royal couple "plan to try this summer" to give Prince George a sibling.
