According to Us Weekly, Kate Middleton and Prince William have decided to celebrate Prince George's first birthday in "low-key manner." This is contrary to "mass hysteria" that spread around the England last year, when Prince George was born.

The Birthday Party: The Web site notes that the spokesman for the palace revealed that the royal family is "marking it privately." This includes "close family and friends." The venue of their party remains at Kensington Palace.

Furthermore, the source disclosed that "it will most likely be an indoor tea party that 'may extend to the garden if the weather remains glorious."

Prince George and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will welcome George's great grandmother Queen Elizabeth II to grace the occasion. They will also be joined by George's Uncle, Prince Harry and Middleton family. However, Prince George's grandfather and grandmother will remain absent from the event.
