There's nothing quite like the approval of a father, and this one is a bit harder to get than most. Prince Charles is charmed by son Prince Harry's new lady love Cressida Bonas, increasing speculation that she is indeed "The One."

Several sources have already said that Prince Harry is very eager to prove to the pretty blonde that he is ready to commit to a serious relationship. Indeed, the royal romance seems to be in its way to serious territory, with reports of the young prince taking home Bonas to meet the royal family.

"Harry knew he needed a nod from his dad so people would take them seriously as a couple," a source close to the royals reveals to Now magazine. "He was understandably nervous but asked Charles if they could meet over a 'kitchen supper' - an informal, simple meal. It was the least pressures setting he could think of."

Although the prince may have been prepared to face the worst, he need not have worried. His father was delighted to meet the girl who captured his son's heart, and found Bonas charming and well-mannered - not to mention naturally stunning.

Reports say Prince Charles so enjoyed the company of Bonas that he even invited her to join a ski trip. The gesture meant a lot to the dance student, although she had to decline due to work commitments in the city.

Prince Harry, said to be smitten with Bonas, should be properly thrilled her family is so enamoured with his girl. Not only has Prince Charles given his much-anticipated thumbs up, but royal cousin Princess Eugenie is a close pal of Bonas as well. She is actually the one who set up Prince Harry and the British beauty, and it seems it has paid off.

Princess Eugenie has also accompanied the couple in a few of their more public outings. She was with them on the Switzerland slopes during their infamous ski cuddle. More recently, Eugenie was also with them when they partied together in what's being called the couple's first "official date."
