Prince Harry-Ellie Goulding dating rumours: Two spotted in PDA at polo event

Pop singer Ellie Goulding and Prince Harry have set the dating rumour mills spinning as the two were spotted spending a night “canoodling” at a polo event. They were at the Audi Polo Challenge, and as per tabloid reports, a person claimed that the two seemed as if they had kissed underneath a blanket.

Goulding has been in touch with Harry ever since she sung at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding in 2011. She entertained guests with her hit numbers, including her cover of Elton John’s “Your Song.” In 2014, she attended the closing ceremony for the Invictus Games in 2014, organised by Prince Harry.

“He has told friends how much he likes Ellie and she is clearly taken by him,” a source close to Harry’s social circle told The Sun.

The royal insider revealed that Harry, 31, got Goulding’s number a while ago and got in touch. The two hit off well post Kate and William’s wedding reception. Soon things stepped up and they had been in touch in recent weeks. This was their first public meeting.

According to the source, Goulding, 29 and Harry had eyes only for each other after the event. They spent a lot of time under blankets and sitting together. The two kissed and Harry took his leave as he had a match the next day. Goulding left about five minutes later.

However, Goulding has been silent on the Prince Harry romance rumours and has posed for a sultry selfie instead. She has ignored claims of getting close to Harry.

Goulding has previously dated Radio 1 DJ Greg James and McFly's Dougie Poynter. Although she is used to speculations regarding her private life, connections with Harry has taken things to a very different level.

Harry was in a six-year on/off relationship with Zimbabwean-born Chelsy Davy until 2010. In 2012, he started dating Cressida Bonas but the couple broke up after two years. Harry has also been linked to Caroline Flack, Mollie King, Lauren Pope and Catherine Ommanney.
