Prince Harry has apparently found his future princess, but is still fixated on his love of his life, ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy. A new unofficial biography about the 28-year-old royal bachelor claims that Chelsy is still in the running to become his bride, despite splitting from him three years ago.

The Daily Mail has exclusive extract of "Harry: The People's Prince" by Chris Hutchins, which alleges that Harry is smitten with current girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, and is even expected to choose the 24-year-old socialite to become his wife when he decides to settle down.

A friend was quoted in the book as saying, "She's very stable, and a most suitable potential bride for the prince. Intellectually, she is probably his superior. I'd bet on her being the one when the time comes for him to choose his princess."

It was his cousin, Princess Eugenie, who introduced Cressida to him last year so it's no wonder that his aunt Fergie has Cressida's vote as his future bride. Apparently, Fergie was urging her nephew to propose to Cressida, but he's not ready to rush to the altar.

However, it doesn't mean that he has completely forgotten about Chelsy.

"Don't write Chelsy off," another friend said. "She was the love of his life for seven years, and it wouldn't surprise me if she didn't re-emerge at some point in the not-too-distant future.

"I think they love each other and eventually they will get back together. In fact - and she'll hate me for saying this - I believe they will marry once she is convinced, of course, that his wandering eye days are over."

The pal added that the charming prince "still has a few tricks up his sleeve, I think. Watch this space."

Chelsy was Harry's on-off girlfriend from 2004 to 2010. Harry reportedly admitted to a former schoolmate in a letter that Chelsy was his "love of my life - this one's unreal." The two remained friends after their last split, though. She appeared as his "plus one" at his brother Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011.
