A friend of Chelsy Davy and Prince Harry says in an interview that Prince Harry has "brought up marriage in the past" but the Zimbabwean-born Davy would "quickly play it down". Prince Harry, who is turning 30 in 2014, is rumoured to be under constant pressure to settle down. Based on his unofficial biography "Harry: The People's Prince" written by Chris Hutchins, the royal prince is under pressure to wed Bonas.

In an interview with Daily Mail Royal Editor Katie Nicholl in May 2011, one of Harry's pals reveal that the prince would bring up marriage talk "when he's drunk" referring to the time when the prince was still dating Chelsy Davy.

Cressida Bonas, the daughter of former Sixties "It" Girl Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon, started dating Harry in 2012, two years after he and Chelsy broke up. Bonas was introduced to Harry by Harry's cousin Eugenie. Just over a year of dating, rumours of Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas's "imminent" engagement started hitting the newsstands.

A source close to Harry said, royal watchers and fans should not write Chelsy Davy off. The source adds that Chelsy Davy "was the love of his life for seven years, and it wouldn't surprise me if she didn't re-emerge at some point in the not-too-distant future. I think they love each other and eventually they will get back together."

The source also says, "She [Chelsy] will hate me for saying this -I believe they will marry once she is convinced, of course, that [is when] his wandering eye days are over."

Chelsy Davy and Prince Harry officially ended their relationship in 2010 and a friend of the prince said at the time that Harry had no idea what to do. The friend added, "She's the only one he's ever wanted to settle down with, and she's just not interested in being a professional princess."

Another insider also said in the May 2011 interview with Katie Nicholl that Harry "adores Chelsy and really wants things to work".

Chelsy Davy reportedly said that being royalty "is not the life" for her. Fans say, this may be the reason why Cressida Bonas is "scared" of Prince Harry's ex-flame Chelsy Davy.
