Gemma Arterton may have had two epic romances on-screen with handsome co-stars Sam Worthington and Jake Gyllenhaal, but her off-screen romance has just upped both on-screen relationships - she got married over the weekend.

UK's The Daily Mail reports that the former Bond girl married 37-year-old Stefano Catelli in a small village in Andalucia, Spain. Arterton said her "I do's" in a beautiful champagne-coloured strapless gown and carried a bouquet of white roses in the ceremony attended only by close friends and family.

The 24-year-old 'Prince of Persia: Sands of Time' star dated Catelli, an Italian fashion manager, for about a year. He proposed to her last summer. Arterton told The Daily Mail that she fell in love with him instantly.

"I remember going home the night after I met him and writing in my diary that I'd met the man I'm going to marry," she said. "I gave that diary entry to him for his birthday two weeks later. But it didn't freak him out, because he was thinking the same thing."

The newspaper also reported that she plans on taking a few months off work to spend time with her new husband.

Aside from most recently appearing in 'Prince of Persia' as Princess Tamina next to Gyllenhaal, Arterton also starred opposite rising action star Worthington as Io in the remake 'Clash of the Titans'.
