Prince William and Kate Middleton’s graduation video resurfaces online
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s graduation video has resurfaced, and the Royal family were all there to cheer on them. The college sweethearts graduated from Scotland’s University of St Andrews in 2005 when they were just 23 years old.
The fan account teatimewiththecambridges has posted the video of the future king and queen while they were being called on stage on June 23, 2005. William’s family were there, including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla.
William and Kate had only been dating for a couple of years when they graduated from uni, but somehow, William’s father appeared to know that Kate would be his daughter-in-law someday. In the video, Charles is seen breaking into a huge grin when Catherine Middleton was called on stage.
But it was when William Wales’ name was called that even the Queen herself couldn’t contain her excitement. Her Majesty looked so animated when her grandson and heir walked on stage.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met in 2001 at the university. According to prevalent reports, William fell for the future mother of his three kids when Kate walked on a runway wearing a see-through dress by one of their fellow students. They were friends for a year before they started dating. They would split two years later in 2007 but got back together again.
William proposed to Kate in October 2010 in Kenya. And six months later in April, the couple wed in a spectacular event in Westminster Abbey. They are currently proud parents of three children, Prince George (5), Princess Charlotte (3) and Prince Louis (6 months).
