Princess Caroline of Hanover: See the Royal Granny in her Most Recent Chanel Couture Dresses [SLIDESHOW]

When it comes to fashion, Princess Caroline of Hanover sometimes takes a backseat to her sister-in-law Princess Charlene's style. But the royal, now a granny at 56, has an impressive arsenal of Chanel Haute Couture creations.

Princess Caroline wore her most recent Chanel Couture dress at the 65th Annual Red Cross Ball in Monte-Carlo on August 2. While Princess Charlene of Monaco stole the spotlight in a turquoise Patrice Pepe gown, Caroline took a more subtle, yet more intricately detailed approach. The Grimaldi family's new grandmother wore a Spring 2013 dress. The short-sleeved column had such a simple silhouette. But its length was covered in navy lace, white sequins, and dazzling beading. To complement her white-and-navy gown, the mother-of-four wore sapphire earrings and a matching bracelet.

On July 27, the Monegasque royal's hectic social schedule had her at the Monaco Love Ball benefiting the Naked Heart Foundation. With Karl Lagerfeld at her side, Princess Caroline of Hanover showed off another Spring 2013 Haute Couture dress. Like her Red Cross Ball gown, this number came in lace. The white dress allowed Princess Caroline's future daughter-in-law Tatiana Santo Domingo to shine in her cobalt blue dress. But, Princess Grace's daughter wasn't about to let go of the spotlight completely. She added almost shoulder-length statement earrings to her look.

Shortly before visiting her son Andrea Casiraghi and his fiancee, new mum Tatiana Santo Domingo in London, Princess Caroline of Hanover made a glamorous stop at the Monaco Rose Ball in March 2013. The Princess' gown was from Fall 2012. It was typical Caroline - white, black, elegant. The short-sleeved dress had beautiful floral beading that gave the perfect amount of shimmer. Princess Caroline styled her hair in a chic, bouffant updo. Once again, jewelry was a highlight of her outfit. Floral drop earrings and a long, heart-shaped pendant necklace were dazzling additions to her Rose Ball outfit.
