Star Wars Princess Leia snorted cocaine while filming scenes on Hoth, the ice planet.

Carrie Fisher, the Hollywood actress who played Princess Leia, revealed that she snorted the drug during the filming of The Empire Strikes Back.

"I didn't even like coke that much. It was just a case of getting on whatever train I needed to take to get high," confessed Carrie Fisher.

Carrie Fisher claims that drugs ruined her life. Fisher now performs in a stand-up comedy show Wishful Drinking.

"I realised I was doing a bit more drugs than other people and losing my choice in the matter," said Fisher, as quoted by The Sun.

"If I'd been addicted to booze I'd be dead now, because you just go out and get it.

"Carrie Fisher's portrayal of Princess Leia in the "Star Wars" saga (1977-1983) was Fisher's most famous role. Fisher was born to Hollywood starlet Debbie Reynolds, and the late singer Eddie Fisher who left the family for Elizabeth Taylor.
