‘Prison Break’ Season 5 spoilers: Lincoln and Sucre may travel Middle East to free Michael; Purcell uses body double
“Prison Break” will return and is expected to premiere end of 2016 or early 2017. Shooting has started in Vancouver where Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows) and Amaury Nolasco (Sucre) were spotted in Vancouver International Airport. As revealed by Fox CEO and co-chair Dana Walden, the highly-anticipated show will have an international landscape.

From the photo, it seems that the two are going somewhere far to look for Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), although it is tough to derive anything solely from the photograph.
The Huffington Post reported (via Morocco World News) that “Prison Break” Season 5 will take the series’ stars to Morocco. The show has reportedly secured permits to film in Ouarzazate, Casablanca and Rabat.
[Spoiler Alert] As it is believed that Michael is alive and imprisoned in Yemen, his brother Lincoln, friend Sucre and possibly Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies), and Michael and Sara’s son Michael Jr. will try and free him from incarceration. It is rumoured that the show will shoot in these Moroccan locations to portray the Middle East.
Moreover, going by the photos that Rockmond Dunbar (C-Note) is posting on Instagram, the Middle East theory is more likely to be true. He sparked rumours of his character’s transformation when posted a photograph wearing a Muslim headgear and using Urdu terms to caption his photos.
“C-Note 10yrs later "Prison Break" 2016. A movement of love has begun!! Will you join us? As Salaam Alaykum,” Dunbar captioned a photo.
He posted another photo in costume and is seen standing with two women wearing hijab.
Purcell has also been sharing photos of “Prison Break” 2016 shoots. In one of the photos he is seen standing with others while a body double performs a stunt with a hammer in hand. He is lying on the car hood. Will Purcell get hit by a car in the upcoming series?
“Another day on #pb Lots of action today. My stunty on the hood of the car. He's my guy we have the same heads same body type. Hard to find a good stunty that looks similar. Makes me look good. Thanks Johnny,” Purcell thanked his body double.
Australian-American Purcell is however having a tough time shooting in Vancouver. Recently, he went on an Instagram rant on the “real” Vancouver and it is clear that Purcell is venting out his frustration for not being able to enjoy the sun, back in Australia or California.
