Charlie Sheen sacked by producers of Two and a Half Men
Charlie Sheen has been officially fired by producers of “Two and a Half Men” today.
Lawyers for the Warner Bros sent an 11-page legal letter to Sheen’s lawyer citing reasons for formally terminating the beleaguered actor’s services for America’s top-rated television comedy show.
The legal document first obtained by TMZ.com indicated that the actor’s apparent use of illegal drugs and ‘furnishing of cocaine’ to others are all activities in violation of his contract.
"Your client has been engaged in dangerously self-destructive conduct and appears to be very ill,” the show’s legal team was quoted as saying by the Sydney Morning Herald.
The studio’s legal counsel have underscored that Sheen has committed ‘ a serious crime’ involving ‘moral turpitude’.
"Warner Bros would not, could not, and should not attempt to continue 'business as usual' while Mr Sheen destroys himself as the world watches," the legal documents handed to Sheen’s lawyer said as cited by the SMH.
Evidence showing the actors’ inability to do his duty is attached in the legal documents. This included all the web links from various media outlets describing all the self-destructing statements mouthed by sheen particularly since he had conducted his own media tour launching personal attacks against his producers.
