PS4 European PlayStation Store: Leaked June PS Plus Games and a 75th Anniversary Batman Sale
With the month of May fast coming to a close, it's not surprising to hear the first whispers of games leaked for the PlayStation Plus for the month of June.
The details were leaked via an image obtained by Gamepur, which lists the screenshots of the games that are supposedly coming out for the PlayStation Plus heading to Europe.
The PS4 is supposedly getting an indie title called "Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate," which is also reportedly a cross-play for the PS Vita. On the other hand, PS3 players are supposedly slated to get "NBA 2K14" and "Lone Survivor." Lastly, the other game heading to the PS Vita is "Dragon Crown."
Besides "NBA 2K14," most of the games are not as known, at least when put side-by-side with the May 2014 line-up for the PS Plus.
Considering the growing membership count of the PS Plus for PS4 owners, which has already climbed to half of those who own the unit, Sony may have to start thinking of a way to generate more interest and more well-known games for the PS Plus. That's not to say that the current line-up is not worth taking a look at--after all, the PS4 is indie games' best friend--but back in March, insider Thuway has leaked that the PS4's PS Plus is slated to get AAA games this year, according to NowGamer.
Not to mention the fact that Microsoft is also starting to groom its Xbox One's Games with Gold to be revealed in detail at the E3 2014, this may be the time for Sony to step even further in the game to stay ahead in the console race.
