Among the continuous rumors and releases of console competitors, the SXSW brings potential news of pricing for the new games of the upcoming PS4.

IGN reports that the games in the upcoming PS4 (and even the next-gen Xbox) will cost $70, $10 more than the predicted ceiling price for the games.

This was the prediction by Wedbush Securities Research Analyst Michael PActher at a panel in the SXSW, contradicting the supposed words of Sony President and CEO Jack Tretton, reports Christian Post.

However, the steeper cost seems to have a solid backing, in terms of performance of the "smarter" games for PS4.

According to Digital Trends, the technology and graphics that are being developed for (and will hopefully be included in) the PS4 are much better compared to the current console.

For instance, the PS4 will feature the Unreal Engine 4, as well as Geomerics in games like Battlefield 3, Dragon Age 3, and Medal of Honor.

In fact, CinemaBlend reports that PS4 will even get xaitment's AI middleware suite. "With PlayStation 4, games can now have outstanding graphics and more lifelike AI, which in turn will only drive up the realism of the gaming experience," said Mike Walsh, CEO of xaitment.

Gamers can now look forward to the PS4's richer AI experience in their games, with potentially groundbreaking AI routines and behaviors, given the xaitment technology now supported by the PS4.

Among the definitive games that gamers should be on the lookout for with PS4 includes, according to GamesRadar, the following: the adventure game Knack, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Deep Down, and Watch Dogs, to name a few.

Destiny, the follow-up to the game-changing Halo, is also slated for release in the PS4 platform, with additional exclusive playable content, reports Polygon.
