When Gran Turismo 6 was gaining momentum with its teasers for the current-gen release, it was mentioned that a PS4 version was just a possibility. Meaning no further developments may have been done with the game.

However, this time, it seems that there is some form of progress, as Kazunori Yamauchi, chief exec of Sony's Polyphony Digital game studio, states in a recent interview quoted by Gaming Bash.

"We actually do have a PS4 version in mind."

It would be a spectacular display of driving if (and when) Gran Turismo 6 hits the next-gen console, considering that the team that had been working on the game had spent a lot of research in order to get the closest that they can with reality, adrenaline-based driving.

"Driving a racing car, you control it with a lot of different sensors mounted on the car," said Yamauchi to Gaming Bash. "We're able to collect a lot of different [data]: how the ride height of the car changes when you're driving, how that changes in relation to the aerodynamics, and how your steering balance changes."

The 1,200 cars that were promised to come with the game will be hitting PS3 before the year ends, but a demo has already been released last July 2.

Three months to make the Warframe PS4, also supports cross-play

Technology has come far from the current-gen, and this is not just felt by the consumers, but also the developers who are currently working out ways to get their games on the next-gen platform.

"Historically, it's been a little easier with Sony, and to be honest, so is the back and forth with Sony on how we're going to update and make sure we're handling the currency aspects of free-to-play," said Steve Sinclair, creative director, to VG 24/7. "All of that stuff is a bit of a 'work-in-progress,' so I can't give you 100% answers on some stuff."

Beyond the fairly easy dealings with Sony, Digital Extremes also revealed that they were able to port the game to a PS4 version in three months.

"In three months time; that's a testament to how developer-friendly this version of PlayStation is. It's absolutely awesome. What surprised me most is how kick-ass the GPU is-the graphics are super, super high-end."

What's more, cross-play among gamers who are using either the PC or the PS4 is now possible, giving people their choice of platform to play on, reports CinemaBlend.

It seems that there's a lot to expect when Warframe comes out as a launch title. It's among the 140 games that will be coming out for the PS4 come 2014.

Releases for PlayStation Store PLAY 2013

With all the summer sales that have been, and perhaps as an answer to Microsoft's XBLA Summer of Arcade 2013 sale, which features four games, Sony has also released the lineup for its PLAY 2013.

According to IGN, the promo will put up one game each week, starting July 23, on sale, while offering great rewards for each.

The four titles that you can get are Cloudberry Kingdom ($9.99), Ibb & Obb ($9.99), Stealth Inc. A Clone in the Dark ($9.99), and DuckTales: Remastered ($14.99)

According to the PLAY mechanics, each PLAY game is special in the sense that PS Plus members can get 20% off the price tag. But an even bigger reward is that, the more of these four games you buy, the more PSN cash vouchers you get.

So for instance, you preorder two of the games, you get a $3 PSN voucher. Preordering three games will get you $6, and a preorder of all the games will get you $10.
