Real Madrid will try to continue their winning ways against Elche while Paris Saint Germain will take on Valenciennes in their Ligue 1 play on Wednesday.

Real Madrid - Elche

Real Madrid is coming off another sensational victory over Getafe 4-1 and will try to book their fifth win of the season against just promoted Elche side.

It has been a struggle for the returning ball club to record their first win in Spanish La Liga plays after coming up with three draws and two losses in five games.

Still, manager Carlo Ancelloti is not taking things for granted against Elche after allowing their opponents to score the first goal three times this season. The Real Madrid manager also confirmed that Gareth Bale will also sit out for Wednesday game to rest his injured thigh.

"He did not have anything serious. He had a small problem and today he has done individual work," Ancelloti told ESPN FC "He will be available on Saturday, not tomorrow. He played 60 minutes against Villarreal and played 30 against Galatasaray."

PSG - Valenciennes

Meanwhile, Ancelloti's former team Paris Saint Germain recently suffered their third draw of the season at the hands of Monaco on Sunday.

Fresh from signing a one-year extension with PSG, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out to prove he's worth every cent as he looks to lead the charge against a struggling Valenciennes, who just booked a solitary win in six Ligue 1 matches.

Paris St. Germain manager Laurent Blanc already announced that he's going to rotate his players in Wednesday's duel at Stade du Hainnut. Thiago Silva is also expected to miss several games after suffering a hamstring injury against Monaco.

'We are going to have a lot of matches. Players will come in to the team, others will go out to avoid injury,'' the coach said at a press conference. The fact we have players available and in form actually allows rotation,'' Blanc told ESPN FC.
