Psycho T No More: World Peace Tames Hansbrough
Toronto Raptors forward Tyler Hansbrough is known as “Psycho T”. Not anymore, after he folded in front of the real-crazy Metta World Peace, forward of the New York Knicks in preseason game at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
The video (courtesy of vine user netw3rk) is pretty much self-explanatory:
And of course, it’s a classic Ron Artest World Peace that he won’t leave it at that. Tweeting some final last words about the incident.
What a fun game tonight. Young boys played well. Toronto played well also. Tough group. Looking forward to a fun NBA season. — Metta World Peace (@MettaWorldPeace) October 22, 2013
There’s some hint of sarcasm in using the word “tough” in that tweet but he pushed the envelope further, with real sarcasm in his very next tweet:
Tyler Hansbrough is a tough kid . Stop be silly people!!! He is going to be a champ one day. Keep being tough Tyler!!

In other news, which is actually the game at hand where this little skirmish happened, the Raptors defeated the Knicks in double-overtime, 123 to 120, led by DeMar Derozan's 21 points and 7 rebounds.
World Peace finished with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the Knicks, while the player formerly known as "Psycho T" ended up with 10 markers and 7 caroms.
