Everyone just can't stop raving about the Sochi Winter Olympics. Held in the glamorous yet controversial cities of Russia, the Sochi Winter Olympics showcased how the contemporary Olympians defied the limits of humans. Despite the cold weather, things heated up as the Olympians tried to battle it out with a desire to emerge to the top. After passing a very controversial law against homosexuality, Russia has clamped down on protestors who tried to advocate for homosexuality-even if a worldwide spectacle was happening on their grounds.

Pussy Riot, a well-known punk rock band in Russia that tries to propagate the social injustices in their motherland Russia was yet again arrested for some cause that seem to be whipped out of thin air-the two girls of the punk-rock band was accused of theft in Hotel Adler. The duo complained about the excessive use of force, as the police dragged and beat them to the floor.

In separate tweets, the girls expressed their bewilderment at the so-called lawlessness in their motherland country. One tweet by Nadezhda Tolokonnikova said, "unbelievable lawlessness, even we are amazed. Beat on the floor of the department, in the Olympic capital!" Moreover, Tolokonnikova added, "They dragged me on the floor in the hall of the department, hands tied behind back and thrown to the floor. Putin will teach you to love the motherland!"

Guess the girls really had it hard on their motherland Russia? The girls were then released by authorities as they no longer suspected the two with regards to the crime. The punk-rock band is currently recording songs that aim to spread awareness about all of the social ills that are propagated by President Valdimir Putin, as well as the Russian Police.
