‘Quantico’ Season 1 episode 11 ‘Inside’ spoilers: Mid-season finale airs Sunday
The “Quantico” mid-season finale will be a very “Gossip Girl” style episode. Episode 11 of the ABC drama titled “Inside” will deal with the stories of the women of Quantico, showrunner Josh Safran has teased. Marcia Cross of “Desperate Housewives” fame makes her debut as Caleb's (Graham Rogers) politician mom, Claire.
Spoilers ahead, read only if you want to know more:
Shelby (Johanna Braddy) and Caleb’s relationship will take a major turn with the entry of the latter’s mom. The Haas family story will take centre stage in episode 11 of “Quantico.” “The midseason finale is a game changer for the show, and I know people say that all the time, but it really is for this one. And more than that, I think the audience will be surprised at how far we get,” said Safran, the executive producer of the show, talking to Entertainment Weekly.
“Inside” will also reveal the identity of the Grand Central bomber. Also, Eliza Coupe of “Happy Endings” fame will make an entry as as hardcore FBI agent Hannah Wyland in the episode, TV Line reports. Meanwhile, ABC has released photos that seem to show a New Year’s Eve party thrown by Caleb’s folks.
Several of the NATs are there in attendance, dressed to the nines. Ryan is there, too, despite moving on from the academy in episode 10.
None of the NATs are now emotionally with Team Alex, though they are there professionally. The agents know that she is not guilty of the crime. Alex lost the confidence of her colleagues when she spied on them through camera, after being pursued by Miranda (Aunjanue Ellis) and Liam (Josh Hopkins).
Alex has only 12 hours to go to jail and be imprisoned for a lifetime. Simon has turned his back on her and is now indisposed, and she has nowhere to turn. She is in FBI custody and Miranda tells her that if they don’t find the bombs, Alex will be handed over to the Federal Prison.
“Quantico” mid-season finale airs at 10 pm on Sunday on ABC in the US.
