‘Quantico’ Season 1 episode 9 'Guilty' spoilers: Anne Heche to make entry
Actress Anne Heche will make her debut as a guest star in “Quantico” in episode 9 titled “Guilty.” She will play Dr. Susan Langdon, a former FBI agent and medical examiner who is now a bestselling author. She returns to the Quantico base to conduct a seminar on how to identify and catch serial murderers.
In the new episode the NATs (new agent trainees) are introduced to Dr. Langdon, who will take their lessons for the week. Miranda Shaw (Aunjanue Ellis) will not to be seen in the new episode “Guilty.” In episode 8 she was discovered bleeding by Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) on the terrace of her home.
In the current timeline of “Quantico”, Dr. Langdon tasks the trainees with looking at serial killer cases to find the one victim that does not fit the case, ABC reports. The new teacher does not expect her students to be too successful, “but when Simon becomes too good at finding things that don’t belong, it’s his life that becomes endangered,” episode 9 teases.
In the future, Alex is interrogated by a highly sophisticated FBI team while Ryan’s (Jake McLaughlin) life hangs in the balance.
In the flash-forward timeline, Alex is interrogated by the FBI and she ties her best to convince them of her good intentions, so they will not be suspicious of her. She tells the FBI that someone else has been planting bombs. Episode 8 witnessed Alex turning herself in because she thought it would help stop the second bombing.
In the episode sneak peek, Liam O’Connor (Josh Hopkins) is seen drunk in a bar. A girl calls Alex to take away Liam from the bar, since she was the last person he had given a missed call to. However, Ryan is angry that she was going after the man who tried to destroy both of them.
However Alex just brushes him off saying that she sees Liam destroying himself just like her father did. She told Ryan that it was not about him or Liam. She wanted to help the latter.
Show creator Josh Safran teased that after Alex put Ryan on a helicopter with The Unknown group, it did not reach its destination. “It’s landed more in hell,” Safran told Entertainment Weekly.
“Quantico” fans will have to wait till Nov. 29 to watch episode 9. There will be no new episode on Sunday.
“Quantico” airs at 10 pm on Sundays on ABC in the U.S.
