Queen Elizabeth is reportedly suffering from Alzheimer's disease as she nears the age of 90. However, the public has slammed the claims and even blamed Camilla Parker-Bowles for starting the rumours.

GLOBE magazine, in its October 20 issue, reported that Queen Elizabeth is struggling with Alzheimer's, a "health crisis" the palace is allegedly trying so hard to hide. The disease is believed to be so terrible that she has supposedly even mistaken his son, Prince Charles, for her husband, Prince Philip. Likewise, sources claimed the 88-year old monarch was seen wandering around the palace gardens and has even forgotten Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding.

However, the public reportedly cried outrage over the rumours. According to The Epoch Times, the Queen's supporters claimed Camilla-Parker Bowles could be behind the Alzheimer's rumours. The site quoted a supporter who claimed the Alzheimer's disease is nothing but an "abomination rumor from Camilla Parker-Bowles." Additionally, sources allegedly told GLOBE that Bowles could try to take advantage of Queen Elizabeth's "ailment."

The rumour is allegedly spurred by the pair's feud. The September issue of GLOBE previously described Camilla as a "scheming second wife" who the monarch wishes to exile to a private island. Queen Elizabeth has reportedly been asking Prince Charles to divorce Camilla Parker-Bowles.

However, few members of the public also contradicted claims that Camilla is responsible for spreading the rumour on the Queen's Alzheimer's. One person said it's "rubbish" to talk about Camilla Parker-Bowles in a feud with the monarch. She reportedly gets along well with the royal family, which would include Queen Elizabeth. While another pointed out that the GLOBE is nothing but a tabloid so anything the publication reports should be considered as a rumour unless proven otherwise.

As for the Queen's health, Mirror UK somehow contradicted claims of her Alzheimer's. The monarch may be getting older but she is reportedly still active in her royal duties. A royal aide claimed Queen Elizabeth is still in "excellent health" and "still working very hard." However, the aide also added that the monarch is getting frail with age so some duties, such as public works, will reportedly have to be done by Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles.
