Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has surprised everyone watching last Saturday when she became the unofficial "Bond Girl" after parachuting from a helicopter together with actor Daniel Craig at the lavish 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in London.

The Buckingham Palace confirmed that last year, the 86-year old Queen has agreed in participating with director Danny Boyle's film portion for the 2012 Olympics celebration.

According to London's Mayor Boris Johnson, Queen Elizabeth was very excited with her very first film role. The said film production showed British actor Daniel Craig, who currently portrays Ian Fleming's legendary agent James Bond, walking into Buckingham Palace in a classic tuxedo to escort a VIP Guest to the opening ceremony of the Olympics.

People were expecting to see a famous actress portraying The Queen. Much to their surprise, the real-life Queen took part in the scene alongside Craig. Thousands of audience gasped when Queen Elizabeth turned around with her desk chair and said: "Good evening, Mr. Bond." Then, two stuntmen were shown parachuting with The Queen from the helicopter to the stadium. When the film ended, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip finally came out in the stands.

Queen Elizabeth continued to surprise more people when she paid a visit and met approximately 150 members of the British Olympic Team.

"For her to come through and meet the athletes and see where we're living, it was amazing. She went inside the athletes' bedrooms and chatted to us," Rose Anderson, member of the Women's Basketball Team shared.

"It was just awesome, especially after last night. Last night will never be topped. I'll never get an experience like that again, and then this will never be topped either," she further said referring to the Olympics opening ceremony.

Athletes from other nations have also met The Queen in the dining hall. "She's beautiful," said Jess Fox, who competes for Australia in the canoe slalom. "We saw her from afar last night in the stadium, but it was amazing to see her like this," Fox added.

This was definitely an unexpected display of Queen Elizabeth's sly side despite being claimed to be the normally reserved member of The Royal Family. The Queen famously celebrated last month her Diamond Jubilee that declared her 60 remarkable years on the throne.
