Uma Thurman has been linked to ace director Quentin Tarantino for a long time now. In a recent piece of shocking news, Quentin was spotted kissing actress Vanessa Ferlito after a cosy dinner date.

Thurman has been a long-time friend of and a muse to Quentin and has also appeared in a slew of his movies. However, if the kissing pictures are anything to go by, then Quentin seems to have moved on from his supposed girlfriend Thurman.

Quentin and Vanessa was seen enjoying an intimate dinner date in New York. They laughed, talked and engaged in a sweet embrace, according to Entertainmentwise.

Quentin has worked with Ferlito in 2007 on the film called "Grindhouse." The kissing photos of Quentin and Ferlito came as a surprise since during the Cannes film festival, Tarantino was seen cosying up to Thurman, according to the Web site.

According to Entertainmentwise's report, it was Thurman who started the romance with the director after separating from her fiance Arpad 'Arki' Busson. However, Uma always remained tight-lipped about her supposed romantic relationship with Quentin.

"I was discussing the rumours with Mr. Tarantino last night," she previously told VS mag. "He was angry at me for not calling him back because, as he said, 'According to the papers we are practically married!'" She further said that both of them just laughed off the reports.

Meanwhile, Thurman has been not seen in movies for a while now. She said though that she may be getting back to work soon.

"I've kind of been on a hiatus for a while, and I just started getting back to work right now," the mom of three told the magazine. "I had a baby and I also wanted to take a step back, and so I did. I think it's important to have this time to take a step back, analyze things and just breathe.
