Kristen Stewart’s mum, Jules Mann Stewart has been making a buzz with her directorial debut of ‘K-11’ this year. MamaStew as she is called now has also been recently accused of suffering from ‘professional jealousy’ with her international superstar of a daughter. But here are quick facts about K-Stew’s mum, MamaStew who has been in Hollywood for more than three decades.

1. She has been a script supervisor since 1988.
Yes, Jules Mann Stewart as she has been known in the Entertainment industry, did not just spring from nowhere when she created the buzz for her drama film, K-11. Mum Jules has been an established script supervisor for years before deciding on a directing job for the 2013 indie film.

Some of the hit films Jules script-supervised include Vin Diesel’s XXX (2002), Mortal Kombat (1995) Arnold Schwarzenegger’s The 6th Day (2000). She began as script supervisor in 1988 for a TV series called Shoot Down. Complete list of films Stew were part of as Script Supervisor here.

2. She was an Editor.
Her filmography shows that Mum Jules was first an editor before she was a sript supervisor. And she began editing as early as 1978. She was part of three projects as Editor: Windance (documentary, 1986), Wait Until Dark (TV movie, 1983) and The Comedy Shop (TV series, 1978).

3. She is an upcoming Producer.
While much of her entertainment career began as Editor and Script Supervisor, MamaStew has recently announced signing up as producer for a 2013 project, One Starry Night 3D.

4. She has just debuted as film Director
There’s no doubt that MamaStew’s move to direct a drama film, K-11 has propelled her to slowly becoming a household name.

She has been making headlines recently for the 2012 independent film, a story about a “record producer who comes around after binging on drink and drugs and finds himself in a section of the Los Angeles County Jail reserved for homosexuals, which is ruled by a transsexual named Mousey.” The film stars Goran Visnjic, Kate del Castillo and more. Kristen was earlier suspected to be part of the film but Jules noted that the involvement of the 22-year-old Panic Room goes as far as allowing her voice used over the telephone.

5. She loves tattoos.
As can be seen in the pictures in slideshow, K-Stew obviously doesn't share her mom's love for tattoos. While Kristen's skin is clear with no skin art inked in it, MamaStew loves them. Her right arm is covered with different designs - - both colored and black and white ones. The image of a lion is seen on the upper right arm while different forms, in colored, are inked on the lower right arm.

6. She is just a loving Single- Mom.
Always supportive of K-Stew, MamaStew has given nothing but love for her daughter despite the scandal she was broiled in with a married man. With love, Mum Jules has consistently spent quality time with Kristen - - and this means cooking with Robert Pattinson’s girlfriend. She has been divorced two years after separation from K-Stew’s dad in 2010. They were together for 27 years before the divorce.

”I made a sausage-based lasagna, and Kristen made a cheese and marinara. We had friends come over as blind judges and she won,” says the woman the Twihard crowd refers to as “MamaStew,” Jules was quoted as saying by the New York Daily News.
