Rachael Leahcar, one of the top favorites in The Voice Australia, posted an old video on Wednesday showing her performance of Kiki Dee's "I Got the Music in Me" at age 12.

Leahcar shouted out on Facebook: "Anyone wanna know what I sounded like at 12? Click this!"

The video, uploaded four years ago, was taken during Fellini's Search for a Star in 2006.

Singing the words, "Ain't got no trouble in my life, No foolish dream to make me cry," Leahcar was already a compelling vocal talent at a young age.

Leahcar, who had been diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, is now left with only about 10 per cent vision. When she hit the stage for The Voice blind auditions, she had the Aussies with only the first few notes of La Vie En Rose. She later on picked Delta Goodrem to be her coach in the competition.

"Rachael is an extraordinary human being who has a very unique talent - her voice. Her voice left me no other choice but to turn my chair," Goodrem was quoted as saying.

Regardless of the criticisms against Goodrem's stint in The Voice, Leahcar has made it known to her fans that she has the utmost respect for the coach, saying she is an inspiration.

"I cried so much during #60mins with (Delta Goodrem), I grew up with you, you are such an inspiration. Thank you for everything #ILoveYou," Leahcar tweeted after Sunday's airing of Goodrem's interview at 60 Minutes.
