A racist verbal attack on a Brisbane train has sparked outrage online, with Prime Minister Tony Abbott condemning the incident. Two men have been questioned by the police over the abuse.

In the now-viral video, a young drunk man can be heard verbally abusing a Queensland Rail security guard after the train employee asked him to take his feet off a seat. The passenger then unleashed an appalling tirade against the security guard.

“Learn some f------ English, you c---!” the young man, who appeared to be intoxicated, can be heard repeatedly saying. “Do you have a citizenship, you f------ n-----? This n----- came to my f------ country and told me to get my feet off the seat when my feet are on the f------ newspaper, you f------ black dog!”

He then challenged the security guard to a fight, while his giggling friends continued to film his sordid rant. When other passengers told him to stop his racial abuse, he turned his attention to them, abusing them as well.

The security guard remained calm throughout the exchange, even coming in between the drunk man and the other passengers when the man continued to harass them.

His friends, who found the whole thing hilarious, thought he has had enough, but the man wanted to go on.

“No, no, no, I’m not done with this,” he insisted.

The video was said to be recorded on October 2, and was uploaded on Saturday.

The man, identified as Kader Boumzar, has reportedly posted an apology on his Facebook page, saying he is “proud to be white.”

“I was just drunk couldn’t remember s--- so stop over reacting, but I am proud to be white! OWS STAND STRONG!” a post on his page reads.

“I’m really sorry to everyone that was affected by the video I really can not remember anything out of all honesty the post made before was someone else I know this is no excuse. But can you all see fromy [sic] my point of view that I was a F------ idiot and I’m really sorry,” another entry was posted hours later.

It’s not verified yet if the name and the Facebook account belong to the man in the video.

Queensland police said that they are questioning a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old involved in the video. It is believed that the 17-year-old man was the one featured in the video. No charges have been filed yet.

Premier of Queensland Campbell Newman has expressed his disgust over the incident, saying he has spoken to the security guard, named Joe, about the incident.

“I have conveyed two things to him personally. Firstly, I thought he showed admirable restraint,” Mr Newman said. “I think he, from what I could see, responded very professionally in what was a very difficult situation, and I have thanked him for his great job as part of the Queensland Rail team.”

He continued, “Secondly, I have conveyed to him my absolute disgust at what he was subjected to. I’ve told him how totally unacceptable it was.”

Mr Newman added that if the security guard wouldn’t file a complaint, the government would take action on his behalf, vowing to “look at whatever we can do go after this individual.”

“It was not on, totally inappropriate, and frankly just some sort of Facebook apology doesn’t cut the mustard, as far as I’m concerned.”

Mr Abbott has also spoken up on the incident, calling the racist attack “un-Australian.”

“I absolutely deplore it, I think it’s un-Australian,” he said at a lunch with G20 volunteers in Brisbane, adding that he has not seen the video yet, though he was briefed about it.

“Just as it’s un-Australian to defend death cults, I think it’s un-Australian to abuse people in a public place because you don’t like the way they look.”
