For the first time again in eight years, the band Radiohead will be touring The Land Down Under for a series of shows.

The famous and influential British band will tour Australia starting at the Brisbane Entertainment Center on November 9, followed by shows at the Sydney Entertainment Center on November 12-13 and Rod Lavera Arena in Melbourne on November 16-17.

The band will also be touring New Zealand for the first time in 14 years. They will perform a concert in Auckland on November 6, prior to their Australian tour dates. Aussie promoter Michael Chugg announced that tickets for the show will be on sale this coming Thursday.

Radiohead last held their concert in Australia in 2004. Some of their fans were letdown when they had to cancel their Melbourne concert after the singer Thom Yorke lost his voice.

The influential band was put together in Oxford in 1985 and from then on they were considred one of the most innovative bands who seem to have never lost its touch for the past 20 years. Their third album, "OK Computer," is often considered and listed among one of the best albums of all time.

Although there are positive and negative criticisms about their previous albums "Amnesiac," "Kid A" and "Hail to the Theif," they hit it right with their 2007 album "In Rainbows" where they set up a "pay what you want" download for their fans.

Radiohead is currently touring the US and Europe and would be one of the main acts for the awaited Coachella festival held in California next month.
