Roger Federer was in China. It was at least what Chinese people thought. A guy, who goes by the name Donnie Does on his YouTube channel, decided to have a little fun and play prank when he impersonated Tennis Superstar Roger Federer. He only needed to dress like the Swiss tennis superstar, put some smokes on, carry a tennis racquet, hire a couple of fake bodyguards and that was pretty much of it.

Donnie walked in the streets of Shanghai, which is one of the busiest Chinese cities. Instantly, people started swarming at him, asking for autographs and pictures. He even walked in at a Nike Store and people were just so thrilled to see the fake Federer. A girl even asked the fake Federer to sign her back.

Donnie doesn't really look like the real Roger Federer. He doesn't even have the same built as him. He doesn't even have the hair like him. He doesn't really even talk like him.

As you may have already seen, the people really thought he was the real tennis superstar. However, it is pretty noticeable that Donnie signs using his left hand. We all know that Federer is right-handed.

What Donnie did was a little experimentation to find out if people would think he really is the real Federer by putting on some Nike outfit and hiring fake bodyguards to run after him. It seemed to have really worked. Don't you think?

We feel a little sorry for those who really thought he was Roger. Those people even got some of their hand bags, backpacks and other stuff signed by Donnie. It was all good humor and clean fun.

We wonder what the real Federer thinks of this stunt. Maybe we can ask him because he just tweeted that he will have a question and answer session with his Twitter followers soon. Currently, Federer has been doing a lot of training efforts for his massive return in the 2014 tennis season.
