The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is beginning to listen to the appeal of their fans and will soon induct Randy "Macho Man" Savage into the 2015 Hall of Fame almost 20 years after he left the outfit. Savage is the first man named to the roster of inductees who will be officially elevated to the Hall of Fame on lavish ceremonies on Mar. 29, 2015 at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California just before the pay-per-view event, Wrestlemania 31 kicks in.

"It's not official yet, but it is expected that 'Macho Man' Randy Savage will be announced tonight on Raw as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame's Class of 2015, WWE.com has learned. A live report on WWE Network by Scott Stanford confirmed that inducting 'Macho Man' into the Hall would be none other than the other half of The Mega Powers, Hulk Hogan," the WWE confirmed the news in its website.

WWE's decision to induct savage is a series of moves seem to be appeasing fan clamour for their idols to be recognized by the wrestling company. Just last year, Vince McMahon made a great promotional move by surprising fans with a Sting appearance at the Survivor Series. It has also recently enshrined the Ultimate Warrior into the prestigious list and now adding the other half of the Mega Powers will do wonders for the WWE's image.

Heavy, an entertainment website, reveals that there are three main reasons why the relationship between head honcho McMahon and Savage has soured throughout the years. After "Macho Man" left the company in 1994, there have been reports that it was mainly due to his animosity of McMahon and vice versa. The same site lists the transfer of Savage to rival outfit WCW, his courtship of a then underaged Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon's decision not to include his father into a special "old-timer's wrestling" match as the main culprits of the soured relationship.

It is unfortunate that Savage will be inducted post-humously as he passed away in 2011. The former wrestler suffered a heart attack when he was driving his vehicle that caused for it to careen off the road and crash into a nearby tree. Still, his family is welcoming the news with open hearts as his older brother said that the Hall of Fame recognition is not for his brother alone but more importantly for his fans.
