Raptors-Hawks Recap: Atlanta Outlasts Toronto in OT [SLIDESHOW]
Thanks to Jeff Teague’s career-high in scoring (34 points) and Paul Millsap’s first triple-double (19 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists), the Atlanta Hawks were able to rally from 13-points down in beating the visiting Toronto Raptors, 118-113 in overtime.
It was a closely-fought contest with no team leading by more than five with six minutes to go in the game and 10 lead changes in the payoff period. Atlanta has now won five straight and remained in the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Confernce.
DeMar DeRozan had 29 points and 10 rebounds but turned the ball over in crucial moments. Kyle Lowry added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the Raptors, which has now lost back-to-back games and three of their last five games.
