It seems that the convincing power of the King is pulling the subjects into the new kingdom.

ESPN.com reports that free agent and three point maestro Ray Allen is heavily considering putting off one more year before retirement and donning a Cleveland Cavaliers jersey, the same one his former Miami Heat teammates LeBron James and Mike Miller are donning right now.

The said move comes as James and Miller have turned their attention into recruiting former Heat players to join them in their quest to add to their two rings. Miller reportedly reached out to the all-time leading three point shooter last week to lure him into their fold. If the same holds true, the Cavaliers will be stacked with a lot of weapons on the perimeter to free up LeBron James to operate on the low block and Kyrie Irving to exploit defenses with dribble penetrations.

The puzzle is still not complete as the Cleveland Cavaliers are in the mix to acquire sweet shooting forward Kevin Love in a blockbuster deal to solidify a now growing lineup. The Cavaliers have already offered to the Minnesota Timberwolves the 2013 and 2014 number 1 picks in Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett and a future first rounder to entice them to send another shooter their way.

If the chips fall as the Cavaliers would envision them, they would have a plethora of shooters to flack James in Irving, Allen, Waiters, Miller, and Love that can copy the level of success the Miami Heat had in the four straight years it landed in the NBA Finals and came home with two championship trophies. The Cavaliers have not been shy of going all in to deliver Ohio its first championship in major sports after a long period of futility.

Allen, 39, is a big piece to the puzzle as he has shown that he still reliable of quality minutes off the bench tallying an average of 9.3 points on 41 percent shooting during the playoffs. Despite his age, he has also displayed superb durability as he was able to suit up for 73 of the 82 games last season.
