'Ray Donovan' Season 2 Recap: Episode 10 ‘Volcheck’ Aired On Sept. 14, 2014, Cochran Got Nominated By The President And Tom Volchek Killed Himself [WATCH VIDEO]

Showtime's "Ray Donovan" starring Liev Schreiber as Raymond "Ray" Donovan aired the episode titled "Volcheck" (Season 2, episode 10) on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014. It is about Ed Cochran (Hank Azaria) getting checked out for an FBI job as well as the various drama of the other characters in the show. Here's what happened in "Ray Donovan" Season 2, episode 10 "Volcheck." Ray discovered that Steve Knight (Eion Bailey) is even more dangerous compared to Ashley Rucker's (Ambyr Childers) stalker, Bob Lepecka (Collin Christopher). Meanwhile, Cochran was nominated by the President for a shot at becoming the FBI director. He promised to do everything in his power to ensure his protection, especially when it came to the screening process.

As for Ray's father, Mickey (Jon Voight), he assembled a team for his plans of theft including Shorty (Steph DuVall), Terry (Eddie Marsan), Cherry (Jeryl Prescott) and Mickey's parole officer Ronald Keith (Wendell Pierce). And, Kate (Vinessa Shaw) talked to Ray about his past and his lies. Ray tried to silence her, but wasn't quite as successful as he hoped to be. Plus, Abby (Paula Malcomson) tried to stop worrying too much about Bridget by going to Jim Halloran (Brian Geraghty). She asked him to kill Cookie Brown (Omar J. Dorsey) for her and he agreed to do it.

Also, FBI Agent Tom Volchek (Kip Pardue) committed suicide in this episode. He did in front of Cochran because he found out that Volchek let Ray put cameras in the room where they had sex with each other's wives.

Aside from the aforementioned stars, "Ray Donovan" Season 2, episode 10 "Volcheck" also featured Marlane Barnes (Shopgirl), Brooke Newton (Mrs. Travis), Andrea Bogart (Megan Volchek) and Heather Schlitt (Cochran's Secretary).
