‘Ray Donovan' Season 2 Recap: Episode 8 ‘Sunny’ Aired On Aug. 31, 2014, Drexler’s Broken Promise And Deal With Cookie Puts Them In A Precarious Position [WATCH VIDEO]

"Ray Donovan" Season 2, episode 8 "Sunny" was directed by John Dahl. It was written by Cheo Hodari Coker and David Hollander. Here's what happened in this particular episode. Cookie confronted Lee Drexler (Peter Jacobson) because he wanted to get the rights to Marvin's (Octavius J. Johnson) music. He also wanted to get custody of the boy in order to have access to his money now and in the future. At first, Ray fixed that deal. But, Lee ended up going back on his word about it. Unfortunately, this led to Marvin and Re-Kon's (Kwame Patterson) death in the hands of Cookie. Bridget (Kerris Dorsey) was there and saw the whole thing.

Meanwhile, Kate McPherson (Vinessa Shaw) started to doubt some things that she thought were true, including stuff that Ray has told her before. She re-investigates her published story. However, that move put her in danger when she got threatened by some hooligans on the street.

Mickey (Jon Voight) almost got some money for his life story. Too bad it didn't push through. As for Abby (Paula Malcomson), she continues her involvement with Jim (Brian Geraghty) but Ray eventually discovers the truth about them.

Aside from Schreiber, Voight, Malcomson, Geraghty, Shaw, Dorsey, Jacobson and Johnson, the other stars who appeared in "Ray Donovan" Season 2, episode 8 "Sunny" include Jayne Taini (Harriet Greenberg), Rogelio Douglas Jr. (Cookie's Bodyguard), Dustin Coffey (Engineer), Travis Johns (Rough Guy #1), Michael Klesic (Rough Guy #2), Kandis Erickson (Debra) and Tom Virtue (Bartender).
