Every year, Razzie nominations give awards to the worst performances. This year, Razzie's nominated Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga and Chris Brown for the "Worst Performances" category.

Unlike award ceremonies like the Golden Globe and Oscar, the Razzies single out the worst on screen performances of the year.

Selena Gomez was nominated for her performance in the film " Getaway." The film was a box office dud and received immense criticism from the film critics.

Christopher Orr of "The Atlantic" wrote, "The only participant to emerge with its reputation intact--though not its paint job--is the Shelby Mustang muscle car, which also delivers the film's most nuanced and psychologically complex performance."

Elliott Noble of Sky Movies wrote "Little more than a series of repetitious chases that ploughs through the clichés like so many piled-up boxes, barrels, crates and Christmas trees. All that's missing is some blokes trying to cross the street with a plate glass window."

On the popular film Web site, the film received a 2% rating making it one of the worst films of the year. Selena will be fighting against Halle Berry, Lindsay Lohan, Naomi Watts, and Tyler Perry for the worst actress Razzie award.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has been nominated in the worst supporting actress category for her role in the movie "Machete Kills." The film has a 30% rating on the website Rotten Tomatoes and according to a review by David Hiltbrand of Philadelphia Inquirer, "Machete Kills is a film in which style sardonically routs substance, a cloying gag built around the iconic quality of Trejo's matchlessly craggy face, which resembles a plate of sundried corned beef."

Adam Graham of Detroit News wrote, "Machete Kills" is barely a movie. It's an inside joke wrapped in a fanboy fantasy, pieced together through a haze of ironic detachment."

Lady Gaga will be going against Salma Hayek, Katherine Heigl, Kim Kardashian and, again, Lindsay Lohan for the Worst Supporting actress Razzie nomination.
