Ready For Queen Elizabeth's Throne: Prince Charles Calls Off Impending $350 Million Divorce With Camilla Parker-Bowles -- Report
The said "impending divorce" of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles is now on hold. This is after Queen Elizabeth reportedly "changes her mind" on the monarchy and plans to pass on the throne to Prince Charles.
According to the December 7th Edition of the Globe magazine, upon becoming aware that the Queen would be giving the throne his son Prince Charles as opposed to leaving it to Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles "impending divorce" is now put on hold. Globe magazine has a steadily supply of insider news on the happenings inside the palace, even though most of them are unconfirmed. Speculations of an expensive divorce between Prince Charles and Camilla were raised back in October.
The notorious gossip source claimed that Camilla is exerting a lot of influence on her husband these days. Reportedly, the Prince is said to have already been persuaded to call off the "impending $350 million divorce." For the couple, the decision to drop the divorce is purely strategic. "Sources reveal that Camilla met with Charles at their London mansion, Clarence House, where he agreed that the $350 Million divorce suit must be dropped for the sake of the monarchy. Charles stressed to her that her threats to expose royal scandals must stop -- and they need to present a united front," Globe report reads.
Last month, there was a weird report of Prince William giving up the crowd for his father, no matter if the Queen already wants William to get the throne and bypass Prince Charles. However, the report seems implausible because U.K. laws on royal succession are governed by the Act of Union 1800. Under this Act, Prince Charles is bound to be king once his mother, Queen Elizabeth decides to give up the throne. Prince William can only become King or have any right to the throne if Prince Charles himself wants Prince William to get it. Looking at this law, the Queen would have no control of who to pass the throne to, at all, unless Prince Charles does not want it. If anything and if true, the new report only establishes that Prince Charles and his wife Camillla Parker-Bowles definitely want it.
