Kim Richards, a star from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," has entered a rehab facility to undergo private treatment.

It was first reported by Entertainment Tonight that the 47-year-old star and aunt to Paris Hilton entered a treatment facility.

Richards, who is also a former child actress, has been suffering gravely from drinking problems. It can be recalled that in the first season of the reality show, there was a scene when she had an argument with Kyle Richards and he called her "sick" and "alcoholic."

A new member of the cast for the most recent season, Brandi Glanville, also accused Kim of being "wasted" and "out of her mind."

Richards starred in hit movies as a child like "Escape To Witch Mountain" and "No Deposit, No Return."

It was in November when she revealed to many on the series that she is presently taking antidepressant and anti-anxiety medications.

The premiere of the new season of the series made a lot of news when the estranged husband of one of the cast, Taylor Armstrong, committed suicide in August.
