Tango is a passionate dance of seduction, chase and surrender. There won't be anyone perfect to teach this dance than real life lovers and New Zealand Argentine Stage Tango Champions John and Felicity Flower.

The good news is that the lovely couple is set to conduct free Tango workshop for beginners at the Auckland Tango festival later this year, 2013.

What is truly lovely about the couple is that they perform Tango not just for sole performance but as an expression of their love and intimacy for each other.

According to Fairfax NZ News, the Tango couple is married for three years now after meeting 13 years ago in the dance floor when Felicity was just one among John's student in Tango class.

Ever since meeting and dancing with each other, they have represented the country for many times at the World Stage Tango Championships in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

On July 9, 2013, John and Felicity returned to Birkenhead College to grace Felicity's former school with a special performance as part of the Argentine Independence Day celebration. The special performance was also a preparation for the coming Aunckland Tango festival to be held on Oct 5-6, 2013.

The Flower couple conducts their own classes for all levels of Tango learners.

According to John, Tango "offers a lot of freedom, it is a very creative and organic dance."

Felicity, on the other hand, said, "if you can walk you can tango." Those were inspiring words for those wanting to try Tango but feel hesitant.
