Real Life 'Romeo and Juliet' Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom Split: Is Candola Rashad to Blame?
It has come as a shocking revelation to us that the long time couple Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr has split. According to E! news.com, "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation."
The couple's rep further told the website that they still have respect for each other and have separated on good terms.
Orlando Bloom met Miranda Kerr in 2007 and they got married in 2010. They have a son named Flynn.
It is being speculated that the couple started going through a rough patch since Bloom was linked to his "Romeo and Juliet" co-star Candola Rashad. Rashad and Bloom have steamy scenes in the Broadway show and it was reported that Kerr was not happy to see Bloom locking lips with Candola for the show.
However, regarding Orlando's 'Romeo and Juliet' performance Miranda has told Cosmopolitan Nov issue, "When I saw Orlando on Broadway in Romeo and Juliet, I was blown away. For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week-I have so much respect for him. We don't run lines though. We keep that very separate. That would be like me asking him to teach me how to catwalk."
In spite of going through marriage troubles the couple on many occasions has been spotted spending time like a happy family. Last month Bloom and Kerr were seen with their son Flynn down the streets of Big Apple. They looked comfortable and happy with each other.
Earlier this month, Kerr even revealed to Net-a-Porter.com the key to her successful marriage. She said, "I take a back seat in the marriage she has with Bloom and turns on her girlish charms around Bloom to help keep the bond going strong. "
Well we think now that "bond" is broken. We wish Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr can stay friends.
