Ashlee Pham and Sophia Pho have been eliminated from "My Kitchen Rules." Despite winning a big advantage on the last cooking challenge, the most hated team on the show failed to advance to the finals.

Deemed as the villains of the current season, the best friends from Cabramatta drew an Asian theme for their dish, coming up with a winning Honey Ginger Steak with Sesame Eggplant. However, they lost to cousins Sam and Chris and married couple Dan and Steph in the elimination round, much to the delight of the show's fans.

And although they were aware of their unpopularity, the "babes" of New South Wales were unrepentant of their actions, saying that they were just being true to themselves.

Sophie claimed that people just don't get their sense of humour.

"There are definitely moments Ash and I would say things just to crack each other up and if you look closely you can see us trying not to laugh," she said in an interview obtained by the Herald Sun. "The scary thing is anything I said I actually think and believe!"

Meanwhile, speaking with Kim Napier and Dave Noonan on their "Kim & Dave for Breakfast" morning radio show on Heart 107.3, Ashlee said that she didn't care what others thought of her.

"I don't really care, to be honest," she answered unapologetically when Dave asked how she felt about knowing that some of the other teams on the show didn't like her. "It's a competition. We're not there to make friends; we're there to win the competition."

"We're both two outspoken women, of course there's going to be conflict in the kitchen when we're both working together," Ashlee said of Sophia, who was not on the show. "We're real people and that's how we handled the situation."

When Kim admitted that she couldn't stand watching Ashlee and Sophia on the show, Ashlee hanged up, abruptly ending the interview.

"I didn't watch it last night because to be honest, you put me off," Kim said. "I started yelling at the TV so I didn't watch it."

"Uhm, okay," Ashlee simply said before hanging up the phone.
