Reason Why Julia Roberts Is Not On Social Media, The Actress Also Reveals Her Fondness For Chinese Game
While most actors today rely on social media to gauge their popularity, Julia Roberts is different. The actress, who has recently been chosen as the new face of Givenchy, does not have any social media account because she says she is too busy for it. Julia also revealed about how she balances her work life and mommy hood and what her favourite game is.
The "Pretty Woman" complains in her recent interview that there just are not enough hours left in the day for her to be on social media. "Social media would just be another thing that I'd neglect. There just aren't enough hours in the day," said Julia in her latest interview with Yahoo Style.
The actress was then asked about how she balances so many roles in her life. Julia is not only an actress she is also a mommy to three children and has now become a supermodel after shooting an ad campaign for Givenchy.
The actress says she just tries her best but it is not always that she succeeds. It is nearly impossible for her to do all she wants to do in a day. She acknowledges the fact that working mothers have an immense pressure to balance both the lives of work and kids and it is fine if they cannot do it all.
"I just have to approach it with a sense of effort and humor because by 11 o'clock, there are 17 things that I have not, will not and cannot get accomplished during the course of the day," said Julia to Yahoo.com.
The actress then advised the working mothers to give in their hundred percent to what ever they do and if by the end of day their family is fit and happy, they have succeed in life.
"I think the best thing to do is to give ourselves a break and say, let's put forth our best efforts. As long as everyone is tucked in, happy and healthy at the end of the night, we've crossed the finish line," added Julia.
The actress also revealed that she is "obsessed with mahjong," a game of Chinese origin that is played by four players. She loves the game so much that she advised Riccardo Tisci to give Givenchy a "mahjong makeover."
